The rise of online entrepreneurship: part two

Yesterday, I highlighted that the most fulfilling part of my own entrepreneurial experience has been helping our entrepreneurial partners build their own online dating businesses. Although I’m biased, I really believe that dating is the ideal industry for online entrepreneurs to take their first steps - it’s challenging and competitive, but relatively easy to measure and fast to learn.

The great thing about an online business is that it can be managed from anywhere, by anyone. It doesn’t matter whether or not you have financial backing, if you’re smart enough and prepared to work hard enough, you can create a successful business online.

Typically, our most successful partners work full-time in online marketing, or have spent time teaching themselves the art, as well as investing time at evenings and weekends to build their online dating businesses. Many of them became dating entrepreneurs by taking a path similar to Steve and myself in the early days, with nothing but a credit card.

WhiteLabelDating.com partners acquire traffic for X through various channels (PPC, SEO, Social, PR, TV, etc) and that traffic generates Y for them in return; their income is the difference between X and Y - it’s the foundation of many online businesses and it works.

An international online dating business runs day and night, and it will continue to run whether you’re working on or not. Monitor online marketing campaigns to ensure that you’re maximising return on investment - but, crucially, you have the option to do this from anywhere in the world, offering plenty of opportunities for extended travel and a lifestyle that would be the envy of many. A dating business will grow over time without requiring an equivalent increase in time from the online entrepreneur.

It means that you don’t need to deal with the headache of people and HR, and you can work in your pyjamas (or onesie as one WhiteLabelDating.com partner is known to do).

Whilst some WhiteLabelDating.com partners may only generate a few hundred pounds (or euros, or dollars or rands) in the first few months, 6 to 12 months later, partners could be taking home 4-figure monthly incomes. Before long, a number of partners are in a position to give up their day jobs so that they can work on their dating businesses whenever they want to.

Whilst Lord Sugar may have 16 wannabe entrepreneurs vying for him to invest in their ideas, I’m really proud to say that we have helped hundreds of online entrepreneurs run online dating businesses around the world. It’s a testament to show that good entrepreneurs can create value through guts, determination and hard work.

In the coming months, we’ll be announcing more online business opportunities from us which I’m really excited about. Stay tuned for the next episode.
