April comms round-up

After our new email marketing executive, Rachel, joined the team in March, we welcomed more new members this month with the arrival of Email Marketing Executive, Emma; Merchandising Manager, Anna; and Designer, Kershall. Our new team hit the ground running, turning out plenty of valuable revenue-driving campaigns for April.

It was a story of little-and-often again in April with several short-term and territory-specific offers for April Fools' Day, ANZAC Day, Easter and a short mid-month filler for those networks without a specific holiday. The combined effect was a huge boost in upgrades and an almost 70% increase in the number of members online!

The extra pairs of hands this month meant that we could send bespoke campaigns for specific niches more frequently. So far, these have focused on niches within the Adult network. These campaigns have driven response rates three-times higher than usual, demonstrating just how engaged the niche audience can be.

In addition, we also kept up the pace with our usual programme of cross-sells, up-sells, featured members, and engagement prompts.

With the Bank Holiday coming up this weekend, May is set to be another bumper month for the White Label Dating comms team!

April began with Easter weekend, which meant plenty of targeted offers. Following a free read session on the Thursday, which boosted the number of members online by approximately 120%, we also saw upgrades increase by 30% for the duration of the weekend’s time-limited discount.
