Product updates: New reports and features

Here’s what our development team are working on at the moment…

Team Tron

Aims:

Team Tron1. To wireframe ideas that will help members complete the 3D Secure step within the payment process.

2. To add a verification-rate-by-campaign report to the Partner Portal.

3. To begin work on introducing a new ‘Spotlight Bar’ feature on desktop sites.

Team Tron has focused on how to help members complete 3D Secure when making a payment. Improvements centre around clearly explaining what 3D Secure is and why members are required to complete it. In addition, we’re working to better integrate the 3D Secure page into the flow of the payment process by including customer care contact information, in case members need any extra support. This information wasn’t previously visible on this page. We hope that making some small changes will improve our members’ understanding of 3D Secure and increase the number of successful payments made.

Tron also added a new report to the Partner Portal that allows partners to track email verification rates at campaign level. This will allow you to make more informed decisions about the performance of a particular traffic source when it comes to optimising your spend. For more information, please click here.

Last but certainly not least, Tron are working on a brand new feature for the White Label Dating® application called the ‘Spotlight Bar’. The Spotlight Bar will allow users to appear on a special banner at the top of the desktop application to better promote their profile to the user base; we expect this to increase site engagement levels and improve our members’ chances of meeting that perfect someone. This feature is in its very early stages at the moment; updates on its progress are coming soon!

Team Pi

Aims:

Pi1. To prototype the new Profile Wizard.

2. To enhance the security of our platform.

In our last post, we mentioned that Team Pi were working on designs for a new profile wizard. The team have now progressed to prototyping each step, giving a clear picture of how the feature will look, how it will flow, and other finer details. The aim is to provide members with the best possible user experience, so that both members and partners feel the benefits.

We recently audited the security of our application to ensure that it’s as secure as possible, keeping members and partners safe. But don’t worry, there’s nothing scary here! Team Pi are making a few minor tweaks where there are opportunities to make the app even more secure. With technology advancing all the time, it’s good practice to review security measures regularly.

Team Bolt

Aims:

Bolt1. To promote the new Profile Q&A feature through the use of login nags.

2. To plan and design a new ‘Ideal Match’ feature for the platform.

3. To enhance responsive emails.

Team Bolt has finished the development work for the first release of Profile Q&As. This is currently being tested on a large selection of sites and is performing really well. Without any specific comms or promotion of the feature, we’re already seeing a promising uptake. Bolt are now making plans to roll this feature out to more sites, as well as developing a login nag for desktop and a dashboard prompt on the mobile application. The new prompts will promote the feature to users that have not yet submitted any answers, with the aim of increasing profile completion rates. This will subsequently mean richer profiles and higher engagement rates.

Profile Q&A

The designers in our team have just moved onto looking at a brand new feature called ‘Ideal Match’. The goal is to help users express who they’re looking for more easily. As with the Spotlight Bar, this feature is in its very early stages - watch this space for more updates.

Team Prime

Aim:

Prime1. To move all mainstream payments over to a new payment gateway.

As you know, last month we migrated all of our casual and alternative sites over to a new payment gateway. Team Prime are now in the process of doing the same thing for non-adult networks, hoping to have completed this by the end of July.

As always this is just the tip of the Iceberg! We’ll have even more for you in a couple of weeks time. If you have any questions about our latest product updates, get in touch with the partner team today.
