With a four day bank holiday weekend in April, this was a big month to grow on! Our comms team wanted to make sure that member engagement was still continuing to grow and offers acquired big uptakes.

Free read opportunity
On April 7th, we had a free-read session available to members across all territories on both our Mainstream and Casual networks. This saw a huge +240% increase in daily “free first messages” sent and a +17% increase in daily logins.
On 9th April, we sent an Introductions reset to members across all networks and territories. This gave members a second chance to introduce themselves to hundreds of singles at once! As a result, we saw a fantastic +81% increase in Introduction messages being submitted.
Mid-month flash sale
For our mid-month offer, we offered basic members a last minute opportunity to upgrade their accounts with a 50% discount off of their subscriptions. This flash sale offered a discount for that day only and contributed to a +61% increase in initials and a whopping +369% increase in re-initials.
Over the Easter weekend, we offered basic members a 40% discount off full membership packages. With a four day weekend, this offer saw an increase in initials by +48% and a huge +138% increase in re-initials.
