Tim Taylor desired to run a business from anywhere in the world - White Label Dating were able to support him to launch and scale.

Background

Tim Taylor first became a White Label Dating partner in 2008. As a successful management consultant, he was looking to start his own company in a growing sector. He wanted to set up a business that he could run from anywhere in the world. After some research into the dating industry, Tim developed a basic online dating site himself and started driving members to it. The reality was tough and Tim continued to search for an all inclusive dating solution.  It was then that he came across WhiteLabelDating.com.

Teamed with an Partner Manager on day one,  the first site Tim launched on the White Label Dating platform was MatureFreeandSingle.com in 2008. With White Label Dating taking care of all the behind the scenes work, Tim was able to use his previous experience in strategic planning to focus on his marketing strategy and growing his brands.

MatureFreeAndSingle is now Tim’s largest brand and caters for the mature dating market across a number of different locations within the UK, as well as other territories following successful international expansion. Tim grew the brand further to cater for ethnicity and interested based niching. By setting up several niched sites, like  ProfessionalFreeAndSingle.co.uk for dating professionals, Tim has benefitted from lower acquisition costs as niche traffic is typically less expensive to acquire. His niche sites also offer users a more tailored user experience and they therefore tend to have a higher propensity to upgrade.

Strategy

When the bulk of his portfolio was moulded, Tim started to look more in depth at his demographics. He launched  new niche sites to cater to specific geographical areas (Mature Dating Australia) and ages (Over 50 dating & Over 60 dating). With support from his Partner Manager, he implemented an effective cross-sell strategy to sell people between his sites. This is regularly optimised and refreshed with new enticing banner designs, provided by our very own design studio resource. Cross-selling still proves very successful and allows Tim to further monetise his paid acquisitions, increasing his return on investment and boosting his ability to reinvest.

The numbers

Since partnering with White Label Dating, Tim has grown his account at an impressive rate. Since his first 12 months working with WLD, Tim has increased his total monthly revenue by over +3000%. His portfolio generates a healthy balance of new Initial subscription revenues, as well as recurring Re-bill revenues as a result our successful subscription model. Tim's account has demonstrated up to +60% increase in new Initial subscription revenue (from first time subscriptions) year on year, permitting reinvestment to support further growth.

My original goal was simply to create an income equal to what I was getting as a management consultant. With the help of White Label Dating, I passed that goal in the first year and have now built a career in a very exciting and rewarding industry.

We’ve worked together on everything right from the start, so it’s been a team effort right the way along. I now have five main brands and over 100 sites across the UK, Ireland, South Africa, Canada and the USA.
